Erythrosine B 1.0 %, aqueous

Erythrosine B 1.0%, aqueous is mainly used in histology laboratories, where it is excellent for contrasting and visualizing certain cell structures. In the molecular structure of Erythrosin B (C.I.: 45430; CAS No.: 16423-68-0), an artificial tar-based dye, halogens and oxygen occur in combination, giving it its specific bluish staining power.

The chemical properties of Erythrosin B dye are based on azo bonds, which have an ability to double bond organic molecules. The product is complemented by sodium azide, an inhibiting agent that stops microbial growth. In addition, aqua bidest, which is highly purified distilled water, is used to prepare the solution.

When the product is used in clinical histology, Erythrosin B enables differential staining of cellular components and tissues. This can provide information about structural and functional properties of cells and tissues, which in turn aids in the diagnosis of disease. With the final bringing out of visual contrasts in tissue samples, the product is effectively used.
