Stain solution Levai-Laczko

Levai-Laczko staining solution is a diagnostic and histological product with remarkable fields of application, used especially in medical diagnostics, histology and scientific laboratory work. The product consists of the following ingredients sodium carbonate, methylene blue (C.I.: 52015) (CAS No.: 61-73-4) and azure II (C.I.: 52010 / 52015) (CAS No.: 37247-10-2) in aqueous solution.

The chemical composition of the product is the basis for its effectiveness. The main components, methylene blue and azure II, are heterocyclic aromatic compounds whose chemical formulas are C16H18ClN3S and C15H16ClN3S, respectively.

The chemical reactions that take place during the application of the staining solution enable the different staining of cell structures in the preparation, based on their chemical properties. This ability to differentiate different cell structures comes from the synergy of the dyes used, methylene blue and azure II, which exhibit different staining and thus illuminate different aspects of the target structures.

From the application of Levai-Laczko staining solution, highly differentiated and high-contrast microscopic images can be obtained, which in particular allow visible differentiation of cell structures in tissue sections.
