PBS buffer according to Dulbecco, pH 7.2 - 10x conc. is an aqueous solution consisting of aqua bidest / ultrapure water, potassium chloride, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, sodium chloride and di-sodium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate. This buffer solution is an important component in various biological and biochemical applications.

The main uses of this buffer are in cell biology and molecular biology. It is widely used for maintaining physiological conditions in cell cultures to ensure optimal growth and working conditions for cells. In addition, it is also important in immunoassay technology and protein purification.
