STEVENEL’s Blue Stock Solution A

STEVENEL Blue Stock Solution A is an aqueous solution of methylene blue, a thiazine dye. Methylene blue has the ability to selectively bind to nucleic acids and thus mark specific cell structures in histological and cytological specimens. Thus, it is widely used in microscopy and cell analysis. The cationic properties of methylene blue enable the staining of bases in cells and tissues, resulting in visible visualization of cell morphology.
