SAFELINE INCLUDAL PVL

SAFELINE INCLUDAL PVL, a mixture of Aqua bidest, PVA BP-05S, lactic acid and glycerol, is primarily used for embedding beetles, ticks and mites. Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), a water-soluble synthetic polymer, and gum arabic, a natural emulsifier and thickener, combine to create a stable matrix for the specimens. Lactic acid provides a mildly acidic environment that protects the structure of small, delicate specimens, while glycerol serves as a humectant to prevent dehydration. This combination allows detailed examinations to be performed and the sample to be preserved for longer periods of time, which is advantageous in histological, entomological and other microscopic analyses.
