KLEIHAUER stock solution B (HB-F solution B)
Kleihauer Stock Solution B (HB-F Solution B) complements Stock Solution A, mixing the two in a 5:1 ratio to form the elution solution. It plays a key role in the specific staining of fetal hemoglobin (HbF) in maternal blood cells. Its main function is to selectively elute maternal hemoglobin while leaving HbF unaffected.
