Potassium Ferrocyanide (III) 1 % Red Prussiate)
Potassium ferricyanide(III) 1%, commonly known as red blood liquor salt, is a high quality laboratory chemical supplied in an aqueous solution. The product is an integral part of staining kits such as the SCHMORL Melanin Detection (B) and the Potassium Hexacyanoferrate(III) Ferric Chloride Solution Kit. Due to its special chemical properties, it is ideally suited for the detection of iron. Upon contact with iron, potassium ferricyanide(III) forms an intensely colored complex salt, allowing users to detect iron even in minimal amounts.
