Buffer after WEISE pH 7.0 - 10x Concentrate

Buffer according to Weise, pH 7.0 - 10x Concentrate, is a high quality buffer solution specifically designed for use in Giemsa staining, a major application in histology and cytology. The solution consists of aqua bidest, di-sodium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, potassium dihydrogen phosphate and sodium azide combined in optimal amounts to ensure a stable buffer solution.

In Giemsa staining, the buffer by way enables effective dye attachment to cell structures by maintaining the ideal pH. This is particularly relevant for the study of blood cells, the detection of blood parasites such as malaria pathogens, and the analysis of chromosomes in cytogenetics and cancer research.

The buffer's special suitability lies in its ability to maintain stable pH conditions during the staining process, resulting in uniform staining of cells and accurate, reproducible results. The use of Weise's buffer in Giemsa staining is therefore an important step in performing reliable and meaningful histological and cytological examinations.
